As the Jinzora Lyrics Service is discontinued, I tried to implement LyricWiki.

This extension lets Jinzora automatically pull lyrics from the internet and add them to your media.

• Here the newest version with some UTF-8 hacks for the users who followed the UTF-8 Howto.
• Searches work with special characters like 'ä', 'ü' and 'ö'.
• Lyrics are written as UTF-8 to the database.

Important Note: This extension is included by default since Jinzora 2.8.

If you are using Jinzora 2.8 or later you do not have to install this manually.

• Copy the file to the following folder in your Jinzora directory:
  • services/services/lyrics/
• Select the LyricWiki service as your prefered lyrics retrieval service using the Admin Tools.

• For now it only works with exact matches. I don't know if LyricWiki provide a mechanism for imprecise searches.

This extension is a modification of the original leoslyrics.php. The modification was published by Jan Kleinhans in this forum topic.

Since Jan did not create a Project for this extension, my name is mentioned instead of his.
